at Prinknas Bird Park in memory of Philip Meigh RA ARCA.

Art in the Park

 Foundation year Art student prize - This is an art competition for "Foundation" year art students who come to the bird park in groups of 15 +- The best artist of the day is given a prize on the day and also "free" admittance to the bird park to continue studies until the end of the summer term.

All the finalists’ art will be judged and the best artist will be given a cash prize of £100.00. on the day. Art work will be submitted to the Citizen and Echo Newspaper for an editorial on the artist and his/her work done at the park.

Art in the Park

All art groups are invited to participate. Just come to the park in groups of 12+ to draw for the day and the winner for the day will be given free entry to the park until September. The submitted works will be judged and a prize of £50.00 will be awarded to the winning artist. Their art work will be exhibited on the Citizen and Echo Newspaper web site.

Amateur Photography

Prinknash Bird Park would like to offer a contest for all amateur photographers to join in the "Folly and Photo" competition. All photographs must include one or more of the "follies" within the Bird Park, they can include any other creature inside the Park even the Public! It is an open book for phototographers to join us in memory of Philip Meigh who built them.
